For Founder & CEO, Al Maas, construction is truly a family business. As a young boy his father encouraged and taught him about construction, fueling his interest. Al’s intrigue in the construction industry grew to a full-fledged passion, and in 1988, with his wife Lynette, A. Maas Construction was founded. Today, the firm is home to a talented team, constructing custom homes of the utmost quality in the Twin Cities and throughout the metropolitan area.
The concept of family does not stop with the firm’s origin. As each home is an expression of the client who will live there, the process of designing and constructing the home necessitates an intimacy evocative of family. Each member of the A. Maas team develops a close relationship with the clients from the outset, learning the family’s preferences and personalities and helping to better guide them through the design process.

He has managed all aspects of residential construction, development and renovation. He has deep understanding of the fundamentals involved; an outstanding reputation with his contractors, customers and vendors; and the proven ability to manage multiple complex projects profitability.

Courtney specializes in interior & exterior design selections. Through long-time relationships with vendors and consistent industry technology and trend research, she is able to bring our clients the best products and highest quality finishes for their homes. She enjoys the creative process of designing a home from the ground up; ensuring each project comes together with cohesion, and ultimately represents it’s owner’s style and desired aesthetic, masterfully.
